OUR THERAPISTS

Gianluca Nipun Fantoni

Certified Rolfer

Fri 10am-6:30pm Sat 12:30pm-7pm

I want to help you feel better in your body, move more comfortably, feel younger, and have less pain. Each session is tailored to your specific needs.

I use movement cues together with deep myofascial release techniques to provide lasting change. I also like to end every session using a more gentle, energetic touch like Craniosacral therapy and Reiki to help calm your nervous system and help your body integrate the work.

Rolfing cured my chronic back pain and made me become a Certified Rolfer at the Boulder Rolf Institute to offer the same healing to others. My approach includes qualities of compassion and presence gained from more than thirty years of meditation, staffing personal growth retreats and helping people overcome fear and panic of water as a crew member on a catamaran in the Bahamas.

I have experience working with a large range of clients, including dancers, musicians, office workers, construction workers, weekend warriors, and athletes. I am a lifelong student, and in addition to the 730-hour basic Rolfing certificate, I’m enrolled in the Advanced Rolfing Training. I have continued my education with 24 hours of Craniosacral Therapy, 75 hours of Rolf Movement (Feldenkrais method), 24 hours of Intermediate Rolfing Training on the axial complex, 24 hours of Intermediate Rolfing Training on the shoulder girdle, arms, and axial relationship, and I have studied the Trauma work of Peter Levine.

I see clients in Denver on Fridays and Saturdays and In Boulder Monday through Thursday. Click here for more information about my Boulder Practice :

Body work is my life. Postural imbalances, sports injuries and maintenance, athletic performance and injury prevention, post-surgery rehabilitation, or just stubborn pain that you can’t quite figure out, I can help.

I graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in Aurora in 2016. Through that experience I quickly identified my passion for the more advanced levels of massage therapy.  Myofascial release, structural integration, neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, injury rehabilitation, and maintenance.  I have spent my time since doing all I can to learn how to actually fix pain.

I bring with me years of personal experience dealing with my own injuries from sports in high school and my time in the Army. While attending massage school I studied to be a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, completing the curriculum while in school. After getting into the more advanced modalities of massage, however, I saw the potential to make a more substantial impact on peoples lives, helping them recover from injuries and correcting dysfunctions not possible through other approaches.

Each client presents a unique opportunity to evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action to address and correct the underlying causes of dysfunction and pain. I’ve worked with everyone from athletes to office workers, people with chronic neck and back pain to acute injuries and surgeries. And I absolutely love to work on frozen shoulders!

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you get to know exactly what’s bringing you to me in the first place!

OUR FORMER THERAPISTS

Regan

I work with people who want an intuitive approach to their healing. People who value a massage philosophy that integrates the very best of multiple diverse modalities. I never use a cookie cutter approach or impersonal set routines. Instead, I focus on each person as a unique body with specific needs.

Hand in hand, we can explore how my twenty years of international study and practice will benefit you.

During our time together, I may bring in elements of Thai massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and energy meridian styles of shiatsu and acupressure. I will also draw upon my deep knowledge of deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, sports, and Swedish massage.

A life without pain isn’t just a dream.

I am a Certified Soma Structural Integration Practitioner. I completed my certification from the Soma Institute of Structural Integration in Buckley, Washington. I know how to fix the spots that hurt, but what I love to do is a 10 week series, focusing the first 7 weeks of reeducating your muscles to go back to where they are meant to be followed by 3 weeks to integrate and reeducate your muscles to move in harmony with each other. I am a mover, a dancer, and now your structural integrator.

While in school, I was hit from behind in an automobile accident, and it messed my body up bad. My spine was out of alignment, my hips were tweaked, everything just felt out of whack. Sometimes, the difficult things we go through in life are a learning experience so we can help others who are going through the same thing. My car accident was that for me. I had the opportunity to be worked on by some of the best in the field, while observing what they were saying and what they were doing for me through the lens of a student. If you are in pain, I have been there, and I know that there is a way out. Let me be your guide.

I recently relocated to Colorado and I’m excited to start working on all of you active people!

I graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2011. From the start, I have always been interested in the deeper modalities like Medical Massage, Neuromuscular Massage and Trigger Point Therapy, and that was just the beginning. After I graduated, I did my time at a few of the generic corporate chains, or churn and burns as I like to call them. I got out of there as fast as I could! Talk about unhealthy!

At a smaller business specializing in Thai Sports Massage, I worked with a Physical Therapist and learned Thai Yoga Massage. I still love incorporating those stretches into my massages and using them to make my work more effective. It became even more clear that I wasn't very interested in doing the standard relaxing massages. They bored me and didn’t seem to make much of a difference for my clients. I wanted to heal people. I fell in love with working on clients who had pain, postural problems, were recovering from injuries,  and/or were intensely involved in sports/fitness. I realized how much I enjoyed making a real difference in people's lives and helping them improve the way they felt and move on a daily basis.

Denver's Best Massage

At the same time, I was working at a gym and I was surprised to discover that I was the bodybuilder’s favorite therapist! Even though they were MUCH stronger, I learned how to go super deep. Starting with what seemed to be rock solid muscle, I learned how to break up all of that adhesion, so my clients could have better workouts, without being constantly sore, while eliminating unnecessary injuries. I also worked with a professional cycling team sponsored by the business and learned how to adjust my sessions depending on their stage of training, while adding Vacuum and Gua Sha to my massage tool belt.

We all get so used to living in pain that we forget there's a better way! We forget what it's like to feel good and live pain free. Everyone accepts the typical belief that the body “wears out” as we get older; that we just need to “accept” living with pain, and that is “just the way it is”.  I call bullshit! I can't wait to help you feel better and live your life with less pain and more enjoyment!!
